A phone configured by parents
KidVeil uses Android device-management capabilities to create an environment where only approved functions remain available. Exact coverage will be documented for every validated device.
Set the phone to allow approved functions only.
Three principles
Internet access, app access, and protected settings work as one manageable range.

Internet stays limited until a parent allows it.This includes web pages inside apps.

Show only parent-approved apps on the child’s screen.Choose essentials and restricted apps directly.

Make bypass settings harder to change.Network and user controls depend on the supported device.
Bypass protection
Protection does not last if a few setting changes can turn it off. KidVeil combines verified management controls to reduce common bypass routes on supported devices.
Available controls vary by device and Android version.
Limit new user profiles
Limit USB debugging routes
Limit unapproved installs
Check safe-mode behavior
Protect network settingsKeep the useful parts

Initial setup
Device-management access requires a careful first-time setup. Follow each step, then verify that protection is active before handing over the phone.

Save important photos and files somewhere safe.

Confirm the supported model and Android version.

Connect the managed phone using the guided screen.

Pick which apps stay and which are limited.

Confirm internet and setting limits are active.
Back up important photos and files before setup. Exact instructions will be provided for each supported device.
Local First
KidVeil applies parent-defined rules on the child’s phone. The information below is excluded from the current product’s data collection.

App and internet rules already received are designed to keep running on the child’s phone when connectivity is lost. Remote access is limited to delivering new rules and checking the state needed for management.
Security, stated plainly
App and setting controls apply to legitimately managed, supported devices. Attacks that modify the device itself are outside this scope.

Pricing and release
Pricing, release timing, and the supported-device list will be published after compatibility validation and support documentation are ready.

The sales support list will include only manufacturer and model combinations that pass validation.
FAQ

We are targeting Android 13 and later. At release, only manufacturer and model combinations that pass hands-on validation will appear on the official support list.
Parents will be able to choose which essentials remain. Calls and messages can behave differently across manufacturers, so the verified result will be documented for each supported device.
App and internet rules already received are designed to keep running on the device. Delivering a new rule or checking remote state requires connectivity.
KidVeil focuses on managing app launches, internet routes, and setting changes together on supported Android devices. Compatibility with other management products will be documented by device before release.
We do not claim protection against recovery resets, rooting, bootloader attacks, or firmware modification. The current scope is to make common app and setting bypasses harder on legitimately managed, supported devices.
