Which Android devices will be supported?

We are targeting Android 13 and later. At release, only manufacturer and model combinations that pass hands-on validation will appear on the official support list.

Can calls and text messages remain available?

Parents will be able to choose which essentials remain. Calls and messages can behave differently across manufacturers, so the verified result will be documented for each supported device.

Do limits keep working offline?

App and internet rules already received are designed to keep running on the device. Delivering a new rule or checking remote state requires connectivity.

How is this different from Family Link?

KidVeil focuses on managing app launches, internet routes, and setting changes together on supported Android devices. Compatibility with other management products will be documented by device before release.

Can it prevent resets or rooted-device attacks?

We do not claim protection against recovery resets, rooting, bootloader attacks, or firmware modification. The current scope is to make common app and setting bypasses harder on legitimately managed, supported devices.
